The Bark side of the office!

Hi, I’m Barkley!

Dad’s friend asked if Mom and Dad could foster me, but it didn’t take long for them to “fail” and decide I was staying forever. After a vet visit revealed I had pneumonia, they nursed me back to health and made me part of the family. I’m a smart, well-mannered dog who loves attention, fetch, and diving for squeaky tennis balls at the pool. I’m a little shy at first, but once Mom and Dad say you’re okay, I’m all about the love (and maybe stealing a nap or two). Life with them is full of toys, snacks, scratches, and more fun than I could have ever imagined.

Hi, my name is Chilly!

I was one of Mom and Dad’s first rescues. When they found me, I was just 2 pounds, missing patches of fur, and being “treated” with Ajax and motor oil for what turned out to be ringworm—not a flea allergy like my caretakers claimed. After weeks of quarantine and medicated baths (which turned my white fur green!), Mom kept me warm with shirts and sweaters, which is how I got my name “Chilly.” Now, I love my cozy clothes, soft blankets, and running the house despite only weighing 8 pounds. I might be a little spoiled and a lot sassy, but my heart is full of love—and Mom and Dad wouldn’t know what to do without me.

Hi, I’m Otis.

I lived a wonderful 15 years with Mom and Dad before being called to heaven, but they say I’ll always be their first and only “Employee of the Month.” Dad rescued me from a cardboard box when I was just a sick little pup, and after some emergency care, I grew into a laid-back, loving giant who especially adored kids and pool time. I loved greeting clients at the office (and stealing soft mints when I could!). Mom always called me her gentle giant, and Dad joked no one cried when he wasn’t around—only when I was. Even though I’m gone, I know they carry me forever in their hearts, and I’ll be patiently waiting until we meet again.

Hi, we’re Biggie and Pinkie!

Sisters and best friends! Dad found us through a kind lady who rescued our litter after the people who bred us threatened to shoot us for not being “purebred” hunting dogs. Mom and Dad only planned to adopt one of us, but couldn’t bear to leave anyone behind—so we both got to come home! We’re a sassy, loving duo who loved swimming, digging in the yard, and chasing squeaky tennis balls. In 2024, my sweet sister Pinkie sadly passed away from congestive heart failure, but we know she’s happy and watching over us with our brother Otis. Pinkie was the soft-hearted, ASPCA-commercial-eyed sweetheart, while I bring a little extra spice to the family. These days, I love snuggling under blankets, digging for treasure, stealing treats at the office, and living the good life with Mom, Dad, and my siblings.
